Deadpan Pictures in association with Screen Ireland today released a series of images from the upcoming series Northern Lights, which is set to air on TG4 in 2023.
The six-part drama tells the story of two grieving strangers whose worlds collide on a rainy night in Dublin.
The series stars Jay Duffy (Love/Hate, The Siege of Jadotville) and Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful, Dublin Murders) as Adam and Eve, two people who are both struggling to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.
Adam is a young man who is still reeling from the death of his wife, while Eve is a middle-aged woman who has recently lost her husband.
The two strangers meet by chance on a bus and strike up a conversation. They quickly realize that they have a lot in common and they begin to spend more and more time together.
As they get to know each other, Adam and Eve begin to heal from their grief. They help each other to see the light at the end of the tunnel and they find new hope for the future.
